In my years in the advertising business I must have run well over 100 photo shoots as art director, both in the studio and on location. They’ve been for every purpose imaginable – print and poster ads, holiday brochures, golf clubs, property, PR, corporate campaigns. When it comes to people I’ve been responsible for photographing everybody from models to the CEOs of FTSE 100 companies. Mostly they have been for campaigns of my own creation – some were freelance. Photographers often start off finding me a bit pedantic but are normally happy to keep my work in their book.
I also have a lot of experience briefing and art directing graphic designers and illustrators. Once again, they find me quite demanding, but that’s the way to get the best work. Here are some examples of my work.
